Powerful story! Well researched as far as the type of occurance in other cities that have hosted such a summit, skillfully transposing it into the Chicago locale. Landmarks in the Chicago area were very instrumental helping the reader to visualize the story as it unfolds. I look forward to reading his next novel!!!
This is an awesome read! It's what would come from a conversation between Anthony Burgess, Stephen King, and Tom Clancy over a bottle of Jameson during a friendly game of Russian Roulette... If you are from Chicago or the Chicago area you will really be able to feel as if you are right there. His writing is excellent....can't wait for the next book.

The last puddle of Uncle Jameson sings the lullaby I need I turned the pages so fast I got six paper cuts but I'm a man so I wrapped my bleeding nubs in bacon and continued through the pain. The ending surprised me more than Loch Ness monster and Bigfoot sex tape. Wet hairy and scary. Great author great book. Way to use words to make sentences and morph paragraphs into chapters. No wonder Hemingway gave up with a bang he saw kurt coming
Great book that grabs you from the beginning and doesn't let go until it takes you through horrifying roller coaster ride of death, destruction and gore. It is a very entertaining book and I highly recommend it to those who love action and horror.
